Cabana Agroturistică Runc is, at its core, a family farm with rooms attached — and it feels different from a typical guesthouse. The 6 rooms each have a private kitchen and bathroom, which makes them well suited to longer stays, and the farm animals in the yard (ponies, horses, goats) are part of the experience, not just a brochure detail: guests can go horseback riding right from the property. Its location, at the foot of Mount Pietrosu and next to Pietroasa Monastery, gives easy access to medium-difficulty hiking trails without a long drive. Evenings can be spent on the terrace with mountain views or in the salt water hot tub, and the garden BBQ and gazebo suit families well. It's one of the few properties in the area that welcomes pets.
